A stay at the Girolomoni’s farm holiday

Staying at our Farm Holiday means to enjoy quality time, slowing down to return to see the real world, to carve a niche of space and time for yourself in a more harmonious and slow-moving world.

The nature, furnishings, salt-treated pool and all that is surrounding the Girolomoni Farm Holiday will help you do that.

Where to sleep

10 rooms, for a maximum capacity of 25 people, are ready to accommodate anyone who wish to experience our GranoTurismo. The rooms are located in two facilities, the Monastery and Locanda, at a distance of 500 metres from each other.

Breakfast and meals are served for all guests at the Locanda.

The Monastery

The Monastery was founded in 1380 by Blessed Pietro Gambacorta, thanks to whom the Girolamini order was born.

The monastery was then expanded in the 1700s and finally completely restored by Gino and Tullia between 1971 and 2011.

5 Five spacious, sober and essential rooms obtained from the original monk cells are located at the Monastery. Furnishings in solid wood, bricks, original terracotta floors, restored ancient doors, huge walls, the cloister with the well and cistern overlooked by three of the five rooms, all contribute to reminding of the architecture of the Benedictine construction methods and lead back to the soul of life.

For a total immersion in the spirit of the place, television and WiFi connection are not available in the rooms.

(WiFi connection is available in the common lounge on the ground floor).

The rooms bear names of important people who visited the Monastery: Brother Cesare Majoli, Brother Peter of Urbino, Ivan Illich, Sergio Quinzio and Guido Ceronetti, marking 650 years of history.

All rooms are provided with linens and a bathroom with shower. Price includes room cleaning after three nights. Price does not include daily maid service, available upon request for an additional charge.

The Locanda

The Locanda, in the past called Ca’ Saturno, is an old farmhouse made of pink Cesane stone that was restored and expanded.

It was opened in 1989.

The Locanda made available additional 5 rooms, smaller and more intimate than those at the Monastery, but as simple and cosy as the country homes of the past.

To be surrounded only by the energy of nature, the Inn’s rooms do not have television and WiFi connection, which are however available in the common hall.

All rooms are provided with linens and a bathroom with shower.
Price includes room cleaning after three nights. Price does not include daily maid service, available upon request for an additional charge.
